Cultural tourism is defined as travel persons outside the residence with a view to the search for new experiences and experiences that meet their cultural needs. Cultural tourism also includes visits to cultural and historical sites in the distant and recent history of the tourist destinations, museums and galleries, churches, musical and theatrical events and performances, music and, more recently and visits to concerts of pop culture. Ika is a small tourist village located in the littoral area near the town Opatija. It is situated approximately 4km on west from Opatija. Ika is known as a typical fisherman village with a population of about 500 habitants.
