Cultural tourism Orebic

 

Cultural tourism is defined as travel persons outside the residence with a view to the search for new experiences and experiences that meet their cultural needs. Cultural tourism also includes visits to cultural and historical sites in the distant and recent history of the tourist destinations, museums and galleries, churches, musical and theatrical events and performances, music and, more recently and visits to concerts of pop culture. Above Orebic there is a gentle hill with a Francisan monastery and the church of the Virgin Mary. From that spot You have a magnificent view on the islands of Mljet and Korcula and on the coast of Peljesac and the open sea. On the hill of Saint Elijah on 910m of altitude you can run into a flock of  muflon and you can visit the archeological spot where were found signs of the prehistoric man living.
