Island is a part of Sibenik’s island with the most high point Vela Glavica (129). The coast is broken and the land cover olives trees and vineyard. The nearby island Kakan is a great for bathing. Kaprije has just 143 permanent residents, most of them older than 50 years. But in summer time demographic picture drastically changes and the number of inhabitants increases more than just a few times. There are no hotel or camps, but one can find comfortable apartment or room to rest in quiet easy summer nights. There is one sandy beach with a bar in the village, and there is more than 25 kilometers of seashore around the island for you to investigate and find a small beach or cove for yourself.
