On the north east part  of  the town of Rab in a bay of St.Eufemia opposite from the peninsula Frkanj is situated the town of Palit, the youngest town on the island of Rab.

An interesting woody peninsula Frkanj attracts swimmers and tourist with it's bays and the wild nature looking. Beside Frkanj there is a peninsula of Kalifront on which is situated a protecdet wood of  a black oak trees-Dundo.

Palit owns it's popularity to the fact that he is near the town of Rab and to a beautiful promenade that leads from the bay of Soline near the church of St. Eufemia till the town walls. This area is also the favorite swimming area. A special attraction are the rocky beaches on the peninsula of Frkanj and a FKK beach Kandarola.
