Cultural tourism is defined as travel persons outside the residence with a view to the search for new experiences and experiences that meet their cultural needs. Cultural tourism also includes visits to cultural and historical sites in the distant and recent history of the tourist destinations, museums and galleries, churches, musical and theatrical events and performances, music and, more recently and visits to concerts of pop culture. Characteristics of demand for this type of culture is characterized by the fact that it is a broad spectrum of tourists covering different age groups and education, but with an indication that interest in culture increases with age. Trogir is known as the museum city and this can be seen just by taking a walk through its historical streets. Trogir is a coastal city as well as a harbour and it is located at the foot of the Kastel inlet, 27km northwest of Split. The old city centre was declared a protected historical monument under the patronage of UNESCO. Construction of the city began in the XIII century and was completed in the XV century. The Venetians then renovated the city in the XV century and built another two fortifications which were preserved to this day. They are the castle of Kamerlengo and the tower of St. Marco.
