Gastronomy Gradac

Gastronomy and tourism have much in common, so that the development of one without the other almost unthinkable. Going back a few years in the past, tourism has amounted to a tour of historical and cultural sites, and a tour of natural beauty such as national parks, nature parks, and general landscape which knows itself to be beautiful. Gradac is 40 kilometers away from Makarska, situated halfway between Split and Dubrovnik. The area of the city was inhabited in prehistoric times. Gradac is mentioned for the first time in X.ct. and in the whole area were found  historic ruins that testify of the rich history of this place. Nearby are Baćanska Lakes (8 km) and the delta of the Neretva River (15 km). Gradac offers numerous opportunities for sport and recreation, tennis courts, water sports, bike trails and close to many tourist destinations make it an excellent  start point.

Gradac is today a modern tourist center that has a really diverse accommodation from hotels and guest houses all the way through the private accommodation in apartments.
