Rafting Slovenia

 

Rafting is the kind of sport that requires a rubber boat, called dinghy, inflatable boat crew consists of 4 to 10 people, depending on the size of the boat. Rafting includes a ride on the river down the river rapids, there are 6 class rafting classified by weight of 1-6 where the first class and easiest means quiet and slow river flow, the other class to class 5 are competitive with faster flows, while Class 6 includes huge waves, big and dangerous rocks and reefs, numerous traps and downs, and is not used for competition already rafters go at your own risk. In addition to an inflatable boat that is made of durable multi-layer rubber and a number of separate air chambers, required equipment includes paddles, protective floating vest and helmet. Tourists and newcomers receive precise instructions to be observed.

The most famous and visited caves are the caves of Postojna (19,50 km of cave galleries and pits); the most accessible are the Škocijanske jame (Škocijan Caves nad pits) which are signed in the UNESCO’s list of world natural heritage.
