On the south coast of the Korcula island, in the homonym sunny bay enriched with Mediterranean vegetation is located the place of Brna.
During the history known as an export harbour for the vine from the near Smokvica and as a ship dock, Brna developed in a little, but marvellous tourist place. A good geographical position was favourable for the development of this place that from a small typical Mediterranean fisherman city becomes one of the leading tourist places on the island.
In the 1971. here was built the first hotel renovated in the 2005., Hotel Feral. Near the hotel accommodation, there are many villas and houses with apartments. In the Istruga bay is situated the sports centre in which You can play tennis, boules, table tennis and beach volley. The Istruga bay is also known for its curative mud that spreads in 6 meters long layers of high standard and quality while the nearby vegetation, between which the most popular is the myrtle,  has a favourable influence on the persons that have problems with asthma.
